Why does my dog whine when he sees other dogs?

 


They are likely to be territorial and this is why they will often bark at other dogs. We all know how annoying it is when our dogs bark at other dogs. But what exactly are they trying to say when they bark? According to research, dogs that only see the other dogs in the distance might be acting like they are saying «Hey, I see you!» or «I’m not afraid of you.» By barking at them, the dog is showing that he is not afraid.
