Animals can sense some of our emotions and they will react to certain sounds that they hear. Dogs howl when you play the violin because they can hear the frequency which is similar to their own. Your dog will only do this if you play the violin in a room where other dogs are present. Playing the violin is a common activity for many people.Some animals may experience fear and other animals may experience other emotions such as happiness or sadness when they hear these noises.
